To the one who patiently instructs his pupils day by day in order to prepare them for the Ways of life. To a man who is interested in every phase of activity in the school and who devotes the great majority of his time to the upbuilding of Marion High. To the man who for five years has shown great interest in the athletic program, in the instruction program, and who has served as the senior advisor, we wish to dedicate this annual. To E. L. To each student may this annual serve as a strongbox to keep the happy memories which he has from his pleasant high school days. In years to come, as the former student thumbs through his annual, may his heart be warmed by the rich memories this book holds, and may he be proud that he was once a part of this fine school. As others turn the leaves of this annual may they form a high and respectful opinion of Marion Highg its academic and social life. May they look to the fine citizens who are graduates of this school for their leaders in the responsible positions of this state. 6
