Tiny minute dots floating in a sea of more important things!” This must be the way the Cross Country Track and Girls’ Basketball teams felt this year as they went practi¬ cally unnoticed . . . AGAIN! Even though they compiled some of the best records of any of the school teams, with the girls’ basket¬ ball team winning the district cham¬ pionship, their pep rallies did not .echo through the halls, great ban¬ ners were not erected in their honor, and very few people even knew the members of the squads. So, they remained relatively quiet, and did not become perturbed when the roaring crowds did not appear in their stands or their names uttered from everyone’s lips. They worked in the simple, but forceful ways of a winning team. Miss Duncan shouts obscenities at a game. The only way to win is to run! Beth Bauman and Donna Ewald practice new dance S ' -,- Crowds at Girls Basketball games may not be very big—but they sure are loud.
