Receiving top awards for F.H.A. and Marionette surely gives one something to smile about. But I ' m scared to talk in front of big crowds, says Sherree Rogers, Speaker of the House for MGA. Do you mean that we are leaving the school to these S.C.A. officers for 1972-73? A is for accomplishment!! V-l-C-T-O-R-Y!! For the students at MSHS, this word was very well-known. In sports, our Hurricane People rallied victory after victory. From football to basketball, wrestling, track, golf and baseball, our people had pride and the everlasting strength and courage to win. Even when the going got tough, our teams never gave up. In scholastic achievement, victory was well known to the people who worked and strived for their goal. Victory for Marion Senior High School was overpowering defeat by a mile. 19

4 Cups Enthusiasm and Vigor There isn ' t much to be said about our enthusiasm and vigor because the pictures tell it like it is. Every student has participated in some type of enthusiasm this year, whether it be in a pep rally or a ballgame. The cheerleaders, the Bleacher Bums, the student body, the fans, and even the players were major factors in producing vigor and pep that carried us to victories and rescued us from defeats.
