Class Will We, the Senior Class of nineteen hundred and fifty-one, realizing that our days at Marion High School are numbered, and now possessing a very great deal of intelligence, rare personality, and talents in many lines, do hereby bestow our numerous valuable qualities, as well as our idiosyncrasies, upon our worthy and devoted lower classmen in this, our Last Will and Testament. ITEM ITEM -To the faculty, we leave sincere appreciation for their willingness to help us at all times. -To Mr. Wilkinson, we bequeath any money left in the treasury, hoping that it will erase from his brow all trace of financial worry. ITEM-The tracks on the floor after a rainy day we leave to Mr. Wolfe. ITEM-To the Junior Class, we proudly leave our reputation for silence, study, and school spirit, with ITEM ITEM ITEM ITEM the hope that they may add to these qualities. -To the Freshman Class, we offer this advice-Take Latin for it will be needed in Miss Buchanan's Senior English. -Shirley Sprinkle leaves her keen eye for the basket to Helen Morgan. -Preston Copenhaver leaves his Chemistry Experiments to anyone who can find them. -Clara Kimberling leaves her giggles to anyone who has the nerve to use them. ITEM-Rhodes Greer wills his talents for financing the Hurricane, along with his ability as a high pres- sure salesman to Nat Scott. May his soul rest in peace. ITEM-John Paul Hankins leaves his athletic fame to Robert Hankins. ITEM ITEM -Nettie Shupe leaves her calm manner to Norma Croft in order that Marion High may enioy a few peaceful moments next year. -In order that the old Alma Mater will still be able to produce plays, Avery Severt leaves his will- ingness to help back-stage to Bob Legard. ITEM-Charles Shumate leaves his ability to fall asleep anytime, anywhere, to Greek Boyer, but hopes he won't use it too often. , ITEM-Cornelia Wolfe leaves her ever-ready desire to argue to Ann Eller. ITEM-Ann Francis leaves her habit of being late to Bebe Boyd, but hopes she won't use it too con- ITEM- ITEM- ITEM- ITEM- ITEM- ITEM- ITEM- stantly. Sadie Wolfe leaves her position as picture editor to Laura Etta Garretson. Joan Slagle leaves her charm and dependability to Eliza Hubble. ITEM-Charles Blancett wills his skill at working back-stage to Pete Parks. ITEM-Ann Johnston wills her artistic talents to Dorothy Wolfe. ITEM-Phyllis Cormany wills her position as pianist for the Choral Club to any oncoming senior. ITEM-Mary Prater wills her height to Mary A. Testerman. ITEM-Patsy Pickel wills her pep to Doris Goodman. ITEM-Jane Marchant wills her wit to Lynn Cormany. ITEM-Charlotte Dutton wills her gray hairs acquired in making the annual a success to her successor, Eliza Hubble.
