1945 Class Wi We, the esteemed Senior Class of nineteen hundred and forty-five, possessing unusual in¬ tellectual qualities and likewise physical standards, do herewith declare the follow ing to be our last will and testament: ARTICLE ONE To our school, Marion High, we leave our steadfast devotion. To the faculty of Marion High School we leave our sincere appreciation of their good intentions, hoping that we will be forgiven for not realizing their fond hopes at an earlier date. To the oncoming seniors we will all our ambitions and unfinished tasks (if any!) To the oncoming juniors, sophomores, and freshmen we leave those long awaited seats in the cafeteria. ARTICLE TWO Ann Anderson leaves her pull at Emory to Sue Sanders. Mary Jim Boyd leaves her friendly personality to Ozena Wolfe. Billy Hubble leaves his permanent wave set to Nelson Woody. Fay Elledge leaves her calm manner to Henryetta Sprinkle. Vada Prater leaves her pep to Doris Heath. Jack Schwartz wills his athletic ability to Harlan Pafford. Jean Lawrence leaves her efficiency to Dick Perkins. Darrell Snider wills his ability to concentrate to Fred Whisman. Betty Tilson leaves her half empty peroxide bottle to Leola Culbert and Carolyn Funk. George Poulos wills his billiard skill to David Allen. Edith Culbert leaves her seat in City Drug—but not her man—to Mary Ann Sprinkle. John Pennington leaves his influential ability to Thomas Eads. Billy Hubble and Charlotte Starrette leave their romantic example to Mary Lou Blevins and Harold Conner. Rosamond Calhoun leaves her grades to Don Battalene. Jane Lamb wills her speaking voice to Bonnie Snider. Nancy McDonald leaves her sophistication to Betty Blevins. Joe Rector leaves his grin to Johnny Anderson. All appendicitis victims leave empty beds at Lee Memorial Hospital to be used by other Marion High students. John Scott leaves his muscles to Buster Slagle. James Gullion leaves his after dinner speeches in history class to James Alley. Mac Sturgill leaves h is typing ability to Dorothy Sutter.
