SIDE BY SIDE - One of the acts presented in the 1962 Easter Parade was a comedy version of the song 'tSide By Side. Marion High grew socially in many aspects during the 1961-62 school year. The twenty- ninth annual Easter Parade highlighted the year with its traditional activities and customs. The Christmas holidays added beauty to the halls of MHS as the Art Club decorated them in the colors of the season. New light came to the MHS scene in the fall by the addition of a homecoming. Many students will long remember the hours of work put into Marion's largest parade of floats. The Booster Club inaugurated a Hollywood Premiere as an additional activity during the winter months. A local theater co-operated with the stars', portrayed by Marion High students to make this one of the most colorful events of the year.
