ea OF Dreams l957 li.XS'l'liR l'.'XR.'XlJli In sharp contrast to the miserable, gloomy spring rains which fell in torrents upon the rooi ol' the Memorial Coliseum was the warm, sunny sfene ol' a tropic' isle in the 1957 Easter Parade. The backdrop, a lingering sunset, fast a warm glow throughout the entire lloor show. Following the beautiful Coronation, the Court and audience were transported to the enchant- ing island of Bali Hi by the high school Chorus. lVhile on this tropic' isle our thoughts drifted back to -lust a Year Ago as the Seniorettes pre- sented two can-can numbers. l'l-IGGY WAIIION Senior Princess NORM.-X OAKLI-IY Senior Princess The peaceful tranquillity ol' the isle was broken as Elvis Pence Cut loose with All Shook Up . The return ol' the Sea Monster came as the ever-popular Boys' Drill Team marched around the floor to the Commands ol' Drill Master Richards- The Sensationals harmonized on a rhythm and blues number followed by the humming skates ol' the Marion Skating Club. Color was added througha out the show by the MHS band and chorus. 25
