The 1985 Student Council had a very prosperous year, led by their president Dottie Brown. They started the year out right by adding something new to the school - the Warrior mural in the gym. Homecoming was very successful thanks to the efforts of the Student Council members. An old tradition was even restored and added to all the ex- citement of homecoming week - a homecoming parade! Everyone got in- volved by each class building their can- didates a float to ride upon. Even though teachers don't always feel appreciated, the Student Council members wanted to show them that they really are ap- preciated by giving them a teacher luncheon on Teacher Appreciation Day. The 1985 Student Council accomplished a great deal more than usual, and, hopefully, they will increase these ac- complishments each year. A SPECIAL THANK YOU T0 CITIZENS STATEI 81
