However, a team consisting of 15 seniors, '7 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 9 freshmen, worked hard and victory began no be a habit. Ten victories, one tie, and no defeats became the magnificent record which clinched the T. V. C, Championship. Six boys were selected for the Sequatchie Valley All-Stars. They were: Freddie Ben- nett, tackle, Ben Braden, guardg David Sampson, tackle, Wilburn Cash, back: Robert Beene, back, Winfred Haggard, back. Special awards, sponsored by Jasper citizens, were presented to Winfred Haggard, most valuable player: Robert Beene, most outstanding defensive back: and David Sampson, most outstanding defens- ive and offensive line man. .67-
