Realizing that there have been too many events to put into 98 pages, we have tried to select the ones we felt most important to the student body as a whole. It is our hope that there is enough of illustration and reflection in this book to provide each of you with fond memories of Marion County High School as you continue your life's quest. 9 Dedication The members of the Vistan staff chose to dedicate the annual of 1970 to someone who has given 32 years of her life to the teaching profession. For 13 years she worked diligently with the Beta Club, as its sponsor, in preparing The Vistan.” In appreciation for the many hours she has spent teaching, en- couraging students, working with them and for them, the “1970 Vistan Staff’ dedicates this edition of the yearbook to Mrs. Louise Lowe ADMINISTRATION Administration Superintendent Principal L.
