We must be able to adapt to, and stand up s against new problems in everyday life as we encounter them. We must solve s these problems with the knowledge and energies which we have spent our is ry early formative years procuring. Hy H Of course, not many people are born with an understanding of applied iH mathematics to appease the tax man while still having money left for a few HH luxuries. And few possess a great enough english background to form the HS if 4 vocabulary needed to talk down that know-it-all neighbor. No, these things must be taught to us. That is where high school becomes a part of our lives. Yes high school, that grinding, grueling four years which starts at the fresh- man stage and culminates in the climax we all look forward to; the Senior year. High school, a program to prepare us for life in the real world. High school is the “Senior Machine’, an impossible contraption of gears, cogwheels and motors constructed to make us better adults.
