We must be able to adapt to, and stand up s against new problems in everyday life as we encounter them. We must solve s these problems with the knowledge and energies which we have spent our is ry early formative years procuring. Hy H Of course, not many people are born with an understanding of applied iH mathematics to appease the tax man while still having money left for a few HH luxuries. And few possess a great enough english background to form the HS if 4 vocabulary needed to talk down that know-it-all neighbor. No, these things must be taught to us. That is where high school becomes a part of our lives. Yes high school, that grinding, grueling four years which starts at the fresh- man stage and culminates in the climax we all look forward to; the Senior year. High school, a program to prepare us for life in the real world. High school is the “Senior Machine’, an impossible contraption of gears, cogwheels and motors constructed to make us better adults. We are ready ES because of the seemingly unworkable ‘Senior Machine’, to go into the world A balance those checkbooks, make that neighbor eat his hat, join a good ball ww club, or just be a more realistic individual intent on making something of his or f iH her self.
