Rebecca Hammes, Carlyle Dewey, and Harry White look absorbed as they translate their Spanish. Languages Marinette High School offers to the stu- dents two languages. One is Latin, the basis of all languages, and the other is Spanish, the main language in over half of the West- ern Hemisphere. ln our modern days of fast transporta- tion, the need for a knowledge of more than one language has increased.
