College Night, Make Up Cur School Liie. Four students hear a lecture by a college rep- resentative at Career Night conferences. Jim Cook discusses application forms for col- lege with a representative. Preparation for our school life on the campus of some college or university is found at college night. At this time the colleges and universities in Wisconsin send their representatives to talk to students interested in at- tending college and tell them something of the life at a college and what it offers in the line of an education. For those interested in Michigan schools Menominee High School offered a program similar to ours. J. Bohan and students from other schools are inter- ested listeners as a college representative explains some procedure.

Assemblies, Dances, Plays and. The handling of snakes was demonstrated at a paid assembly by a skilled handler. Assemblies are entertaining and educational, wheth- er it is a pep assembly or one demonstrating the hand- ling of snakes. The plays and concerts constitute a great deal of ef- fort on the part of the students. The dances after the games offered the students a chance to enjoy themselves and be entertained and gave the clubs a chance to make money. The candy sales also give the students and clubs a chance to make money for a worthy cause. MandM The weekend of the M and M game was full of excitement for the students of Marinette High School. On Friday afternoon a pep assembly was put on by several clubs and organizations. At the beginning of the assembly, Pat Kennedy, Victory Queen, was crowned by the captains of the game, Jack Pazdera and Jerry Johnson. Many clubs put on skits. Little Red Riding Hood fKaren Jensenj visits Grandmother fPaul Linserh as Delight Jensen looks on. A hair-dressing float was entered in the M 81 M parade by the Girls' Athletic Association.
