HONORS STUDENTS RECEIVE LOCAL, NATIONAL RECOGNITION No matter what the final reward, all of the awards that were offered were hotly contested and in many cases the person chosen for the award won out by only a hair. The most prized possessions of the senior class are the titles of Valedic- torian and Salutatorian. Tui Barnes: graduated at the head of the class lol-- lowed closely by Albert Behrens who was only .013 grade points behind that of Tui's perfect mark of 3.000. Tui Barnes, winner of the Bausch G Lomb award for outstanding achievement in science, and Mary Ann Cameron. who was elected D. A. R. girl by her classmates and teachers, receive their awards from Mr. Godson. Queen of the Band was the title bestowed upon Gina Munson by her fellow band members.
