The Senior Class Play was produc- SENIOR CLASS PRESENTS HKISS AND TELL ed earlier this year than ever before. Even though the cast had a shorter time to practice, the usual fine acting and humorous entertainment reigned over the performance. Kiss and Tell , a fast moving, hil- arious play, was the story of Corliss Archer, a girl of fifteen. In trying to appear as old as her girl iriend, Mil- dred, she gets into more jams than it seems possible to get out of, in three acts. However in the end all comes out well. Miss Schloerb picked this play not only for the wonderful story but also to show the people of the community how vicious gossip can really injure the fine reputation of a person or family. Miss Thull demonstrates the procedure in using the slide rule to her advanced mathematics class- Hichard Parlow, and Ronnie Miles determine the coefficient of friction and the mechanical advantages of pulleys in an ex- periment in physics class. Twenty MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE REVEAL THE LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE Science and Mathematics, the ex- act sciences, are two of the most import- ant subjects that are taught in school. Although these subjects have the few- est students in their advanced courses they greatly influence the students that take them. In a day of scientific ad- vancement, in which we live, it is hard to get anything done without the aid of science. To know more about this force which is a definite factor in the world today, is an invaluable aid in straight- ening out some of the bad conditions that face the world. With these thoughts in mind the teachers of exact sciences try to teach their subjects in such a way that the students may profit from them not only by knowing the subject but also by having improved thinking and reason- ing power.
