Today radio plays an important part 1n the American scene ln 1ts vari ous branches of use it has become as commonplace as the telephone and th automobile lt 15 the magic voice that brings to milhons oi people enterta n ment in 1lS many moods Vtflth a click and a turn oi the dial we hear the latest news report the newest dance tune the fireside chat or perhaps the weekly antics of a favorite radio Comedian On the fleeting winqs oi the ether waves it carries its message swiftly and silently to all parts of the nation only because it has acquired outstanding recognition in the entertainment and business world but also because it has attained still greater achievements in education The use oi the radio in the classroom and the school IS an idea still in 1ts infancy but 1t promises to grow and flourish and to some day Cor' tribute rnany fine things towards iurtherinq the ideals oi learning Anything is DOSS1kl9 in the ethereal realm oi radio for 1t IS the embodiment of the sp rt of the tutu e a promise of things to come .
