DEA OF ACA DEMICS w llllll I Frank S. Meredith is the new Dean of Academics for the Marine Military Academy. The former U. S. Navy Commander was assigned to the l955-56 Antarctic Expedition with admiral Richard E. Byrd. The retired officer has 28 years of active and inactive service. Most recently, he served as guidance counselor at the Woodlawn Middle School Complex in Munhall. Penn. He is a former classroom teach- er of French and English in the Munhall district. He is the past president of the Steel Valley Education Association and past presi- dent of the Parents Association, Winchester-Thurston School l975-76. Meredith graduated from Bucknell University in I953 with a B.A. Degree in Political Science. He earned his Masters of Education in Secondary Administration in l963 from Duquesne.
