The Public Af- fairs office handles all releases and fea- ture articles for the Academy. These news articles are released to hundreds of na- tional magazines and newspapers throughout the country. The PAO Staff also writes, illustrates and produces the Academy Magazine, MMA JOURNAL. CHA PEL 'J l'lf f Captain Leo .l. McDonald, U.S.N. Qlletj, came to the Academy in l979. after serving 26 years in the Navy and 4 years in the Marine Corps. While in the service, he served as the Navy Chaplain for both the Navy and the Marine Corps. Mary Moody Northern Chapel The cadets are indeed fortunate to receive the help, advice. and knowledge of the man known as Chaplain Mac. Chaplain Mac's services to the cadets does not end with Wednesday night Vespers. He is available to counsel the cadets during the day in his office at Coleman Hall. Whether a cadet is needing religious counseling or is suffering from homesickness, school problems. or personal problems. Chaplain Mac is always there. The Academy is based on the philosophy of building the cadet in body, mind and spirit and the Chaplain is an essential link in that triad.
