FE .,, , . 'WM . . ,. t . Just as the eyes of the world are on the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA in this bicentennial year, so are the eyes of all the friends and families on the SENIOR CLASS of 1976. We are a group of individuals who are ready to meet the challenges of our destiny. We are ready and able to do our share as citizens in shaping the future of this great nation in which we live. During our last year at the academy, we Seniors were expected to set the pace in all facets of school life. We had to show everyone that the Spirit of '76 was at work in our class. Our conduct was expected to be exemplary forthe underclassmen. Our scholastic programs were geared to our own individual plans after graduation. It was a time for us to realize how important this last year of school was to our future success. It was here at the academy that we were in a miniature world, designed to help us find our place in society. We were encouraged to search for knowledge of ourselves, our limitations and potential. We benefited from the patience and guidance of teachers and others involved in our lives on the campus of M.M.A. From being together as cadets living in such close quarters, we learned the need for tolerance and compatibility among people. We are a group of men who assimilated many quali- ties, and now we shall use them for the betterment of a world which allows us to be a part of it. As Seniors, our search for our place in this world has just begun. We will carry with us the Spirit of '76 wherever we go!
