In November, 1966, a four year JROTC Program was initiated at the Academy. The program covers such areas as leadership, first aid, squad tactics, marksmanship, weaponry and map reading. - Maj. nspector General oteworth 'l On Thursday, March 5, 1970, representatives of the Inspector General, U. S. Marine Corps inspected the MCJROTC Program at the Academy. The inspection team consisted of three Marine Corps officers. The inspection consisted of the following: A personnel inspection, cadet drill, a per- formance by the Drill Team, an inspection of MCJROTC facilities, and a review of the Military Training. The Cadets spent many hours in preparation for the inspection. As a result, the Academy received the highest rating possible, Noteworthy This rating indicates that the Academy attained the highest possible level in areas such as cadet attitudes, leadership, morale and esprit de corps. u-up-ar- ' S 905- y Ji!
