Mr. james P. Akin Mr. Akin, B.S., Texas A 81 M University, M.S., Texas A 8a I University, has been with the Academy since its inception in 1965. Mr. Akin was the head coach of all major varsity sports at the Academy until he retired from coaching last year. He has taught in secondary schools for nine years and presently teaches 7th and 8th grade science and biology. Mr. Hockaday, BS., MS., University of Texas, has attended Texas A Sc M, Texas A K I University, Immaculate Heart College and St. Mary's University. He has received honor and merit scholarships from the National Science Foundation and the Physical Science Study Committee.
