X Dear Faculty and Students at M. C. H. S.: At this time I am very pleased to have the opportunity to thank you all for my wonderful school year at M. C. H. S. Especially would I like to extend my appreciation to the Student Council, who has sponsored me this year. Coming from Stockholm, Sweden; knowing little English; and knowing nothing about the school life and the American way of living, I really have learned a lot; and I will never be able to thank you enough for your kindness and understanding you showed me throughout the whole year. The ball games, Homecoming ceremonies, dances, parties, club trips, and all the fun I had together with my American friends are only a few of the many treasured memories I will take back to Sweden. o Catharina Ahlund 26
