Members of her court were Charlene Kazor, twelfth grade; Mary Moore, eleventh grade; Karen Cook, tenth grade; and Linda Smith, ninth grade. 42 J-hop The 1960 J-Hop, “My Blue Heaven,” was presented by the Class of 1962 on Saturday, November 5, in the Ward-Cottrell Gymnasium. The gymnasium was appropriately dec- orated with fleecy clouds and sparkling stars. The tables were adorned with cunning little angels. They are given an oppor- tunity to get a better idea of what nursing is all about and to decide if it is the career they should choose. They also are able to take a scholarship test and are helped with the decision as to which nursing school to attend. 51 audiovisual The activities of the Audio-Visual Committee include playing the records for the noon and the evening dances and also operating the movie projectors for the showing of films in the class- room. They also learn to repair film and keep the equipment in good working order. The Audio-Visual Committee is under the supervision of Mr. Shattuck. 52 junioR rc6 cross The Junior Red Cross officers for 1960-1961 are the following: Bob Kogelschatz, president; Jackie Bellows, vice-president; Kay Connors, secretary; and Marie Chitti, Student Council.
