Never before in the history of Marietta Schools has such a large build- ij: ing program been undertaken as the one which took place during the term 5:3 of the present Board of Education. This board thoughtfully planned and 5 made possible the present high school building, which adequately takes gi. :FQ care of twelve hundred students. Not only have they done this thing but iq. is-f' they have gone further and are adding to the present plant a new gym- .-.5 nasium. 3 it Li , With the completion of the gymnasium the present board will have 555 S2 finished a task that they set out five years ago to complete.
