Senior Class President M. Lingner and Vice President R. Coppock SENIUR CLASS Not too many words, please. XVe're sen- iors now, you know. You see, we've com- pleted the cycle. We didn't have much to say as freshmen and now, as seniors we have, il possible, even less to say. lt's not that we haven't learned anything, mi11d you, it's just that we're a little more secure in our ignorance . . . we know our limitations. We know a little better how far we've gone and how lar, how inlinitely liar, we have to go. lt's a very nice thing to know that we have a long way to travel yet, but what is the best thing ol' all is that we have become inter- ested in directions. New directions, old directions, it makes little dil'l'erence. Wfe all have our own. Wle even have a line hope that they are all the right directions. No, it's really much more than a line hope . We've learned why the grass is green and have a sound conception ol' the direction of up . Wfe have not been idle and the College has not been idle, and for these things we are supremely grateful. It all boils down to the fact that we have learned, we are learning, and we will continue to learn. VVhat things no one can easily say, but we have been trained to think and think we will. NVC are in the unenviable position ol' being seniors . . . glad that we are seniors and unhappy that we are seniors. We have no choice, we've gut to go, so we're going, saying goodbye to four years o l' our life, slightly sentimental about it and slightly eager to see il' we really have the future we think we do.
