FCJCTBALL The Maricopa Rams football team fell to the St. David Tigers in the first round of the State Football Play-Offs 34-32. It was a well-played game by both teams with very few penalties or mistakes. The offense was anchored by the excellent running of Mario Muraira, Ioe Mavis, and Davidson Ugolde. With the help of our offensive linemen Tim Bentley, Bernett Lopez and Fred Antone. Our receivers, john Munoz, Leandro Soliz, and Louis Manuel did an outstanding job blocking and catching the ball. The Rams defense played very well with hard tackling by our front line anchored by Fred Antone, Marvin Thomas, Edgar Pimental, Bernett Lopez, and David Peters. Our line backers Ioe Mavis, Mario Muraira, Rick Speck and Davidson Ugolde permitted very few passes to be completed and stopped.the Tigers' ground game. This year's football team displayed character, sportsmanship, and pride during the season and can be proud of their achievements. -Coach Voss Ain't this a trio?
