GIRL LEAP TRACK GIRLS: ROW 1: Georgina Rosas, Berta Myers, Suzie Myers. ROW 2: Cindy Colvin, Gina Hamilton, Lolitha Reed, Teresa Rodriguez, Nancy Bracamonte. ff , TO CTIO Sports are for all types of individuals with the diversity of events. This is the first year for girls track. Anyone can find an event they can do in track. Even though track is a team scoring effort it is really an individual sport with the competitor competing against everyone else. We compete in meets for ribbons, trophies, and for the sport itself. Some of the events we participate in are Dashes C100, 220, 4405, Runs 1880, Mile, 2 Milej, Hurdles 1180, Low, 120 Highj, Relays 1440, Mileb, Jumping CHigh, Long, Pole Vaultb, Throwing fShot, Discusb. The Trackettes are really a big help at the track meets. They write down scores, run the stop Watchs and set up hurdles. They also do the laundry. After taking lst place in ASDB Relays, lst place in the Conference Meet, lst place in the State Meet, 2nd place in the Superior Invitational last year, we sure didn't slow down any this year.
