We had campaigns and elections for city, county and state offices. After all elections were finished, those elected went right to work making laws, and enforcing the laws they made. Special Boy's State money was used for all taxes and fines. Boys' State was a fantastic and worthwhile experience for me. I learned many things about our government that I will use all of my life. I believe the most valuable thing I gained, was the friends I made. They are some of the finest people I know, and I hope to keep in touch with many of them for a long time. citizen of Palo Verde City which was in Supai County. Before the county and state primary elections, I decided to run for the office of Supai County School Superintendent. Much to my pleasure I won in the primary and general elections!
