Ms. Celebre and the senior girls were in charge of the initiation since this was the first year. The day of the initiation the rest of the club members dressed in long skirts with bobby socks and tennis shoes. They wore pigtails or curlers in their hair. They also had to sell sheets of toilet paper for one cent each. That night the girls had the initiation in which they had peanut, clothes, and three legged races. A shaving cream contest and a Volleyball game against the senior girls was played. In honor of selling the most toilet paper Lana Pearce won a lovely award of an empty toilet paper roll. 66 99 OUNTAIN, FACE CHANGES At 10:00 Wednesday morning all of the classes were loaded on buses to face our ever challenging PAINTING OF THE 'M'. The drudgery of the bucket brigade, the carrying of bags of lime, the mixing, and the climbing up and down the mountain were all relieved when three or four differ- ent water wars broke out including teachers, buses, and tractors. M Mountain's face was changed with the Seniors adding a 76 g however, the 76 turned out a near disaster. Festivities ended around 2:35, so classes resumed and muddy shoes and clothes helped to decorate our classrooms. . ,. ,X uf M2359 ,W Mr. Boyle courageously challenges the heights of HM Mountain.
