We were sold as slaves to members of the student body. The Seniors designed our attire for the day. We wore old dresses, diapers, garlic and onion necklaces, eighteen braids, or wigs, and whatever our owners added to beautify us. It was all in fun and we enjoyed ourselves. We worked hard in earning money with the football and basketball concession stands, raffles, a booth at the carnival, and other DYNAMIC profit making activities. We had a good year. Mr. Upton, Ms. Campbell, Mr. Synder, Mr. Boyle and Mr. Heeder helped us as sponsors.
