As man travels the different paths of life, he is faced with various situa- tions. Some roads will be very smooth for him, well lit by sunshine and garnished by the beauty of flow- ers. Others, however, will be rocky and filled with sadness and trials. lt is the wise man who sits back and takes in the beauty of God's creation while on the first path, examines, learns and strives through the second path, and gives thanks, daily, for the people around him that he shares both paths with. 13

Upon leaving Marianhill, I would like to offer a few words of wisdom to my friends here. Life is important - Beaudry take it seriously but not too seriously. High school years are the best. You should laugh and enjoy life and your friends as much as you can. Make the best of your Marianhill years. Before leaving, l'd like to say thanks to all at Marianhill for making my past six years here the best. There is one person l'll never for- get. l'll love you always, Dave Hillis. Over the years, l have seen many changes both in myself and in the school. My previous introverted man- ner, which could have been mistaken as arrogance, is no longer a part of me. A certain achievement l am proud of is receiving the Harvard Book Prize in my junior year. Fortunately, my par- ents, teachers, and former headmas- ter, Mr. Doyle, have supported me in my endeavors. I leave MHS happy and with much pride in myself and a great deal of pride in my school.
