Although the football season started in September, the cheer- leaders began in August to perfect the original cheers that the student body viewed at the games. The names of Patsy Amason, Joe Amelang, Steve Carter, Dennis Giuffre, Nancy NVelhoelter, and Linda Hury, head cheerleader, will long be remembered . . . Patsy for her friendliness, Joe for his boundless energy, Steve for his faithful service, Dennis for his enthusiasm, Nancy for her vitality, and Linda for her valuable leadership. The many hours of untiring service which they have devoted to promoting school spirit can truly he appreciated. 84
