Students from surrounding Catholic Schools participated. The winning schools were First Place: St. Michael's Academy, Second Place: Sacred Heart of Coronado Academy, and Third Place: St. Rose of Lima. Both seventh and eighth grade girls and boys competed. The best seventh graders were First Place: Matt Steinauer, Second Place: Cameron Smith and Third Place: Larry Castro, all from St. Michael's Academy. The eighth grade win ners were First Place: Tommy Stewart - St Michael, Second Place: Robert Kracht - Sacred Heart, and Third Place: Kathleen Flynn of St. Rose of Lima. Marion math teachers and students were on hand to help. Each January, Marion holds an Open House for parents of prospective students. This yeor's program included a slide show on student life, campus tours, presentations on curriculum and a social hour in the library, Ad- ministration, faculty, students, PTA and Boosters' Club members were on hand to host. ss.
