A welcomed atmos- phere was created with the help of the junior class officers who planned the half-time activities. Starting with an excellent performance from the Gru- saderettes , the evening took on an air of excitement. The lovely princesses Gloria Carlos, Carla Belsan, Merry Brey, Pat Green, and Queen Kathy McKenna were presented to the Marian-Montgomery crowd by their escorts. The entire ceremony was professionally presented by radio K. G. B. 's disc- jockey Linda McGinis and our own Glenn Soppe. Queen Kathy's first impres- sion was full of surprise and excitement. After the crowning of the Queen by Maid Marian Bernadette Balestrieri, the court and escorts gathered for a group picture. They then traveled off the field on the Soph Float.
