The tickets were worth a vote apiece. Three girls in each grade who raised the most money won the title of being Homecoming Queen. For the ninth grade the queen was Sheila Washington, her attendants were Patricia Williams and Deborah Conley. The eighth grade queen was Sherry Stout, the first attendant was Kerri Bennett, and the second attendant was Della Johnson. The Anderson seventh graders play against the eighth graders at Carver stadium, because the Whitney Bears failed to show up.
