Fathers' Club cooperates in tuition aid With the weltare ot the school as its main concern, the lvlaria Fathers' Club continued to be one ot the most important organiza- tions ot the school. Members contributed time and money toward improving school tacilities. Monthly meetings gave the tathers an opportunity to express their interests in the well-being ot their daughters and the school. One ot the primary taslcs ot this organiza- tion was to raise money tor the provided tuition tund tor those girls who have lost their tathers while attending lvlaria. Las Vegas Night with its roulette wheels and horse races was a maior source ot income tor this tund. A new means employed by this organization to procure tunds was the Bacon Shoot and smoker. Other non-protit spiritual and recreational activities included the Father-Daughter Communion Brealctast and trips to baseball and tootball games.
