Maria's Choral Club and Orcheslra Club were The organizalions responsible for pro- viding lhe music for produclions presenled al Maria. The purpose of 'rhe clubs was lo inslill in bolh lhe members and non-mem- bers alike a grealer apprecialion for lhe arl ol music in all forms. The members were rewarded by lheir sense of accomplishmenl and pride in lheir worlc while The sludenl body was able lo enjoy lhe group's suc- cessful and greally varied performances. The Choral Club parlicipaled in lhe Chrislmas Concerl and added ioy lo shur- ins by lheir caroling. According lo 'rradilion 'rhe Qrcheslra Club sponsored a dance, A Cold Win+er's Night on January IO. The proceeds of lhe dance provided finances for purchasing new inslrumenls.
