Wifh proiecfs, speeches, and malhemafical games, ninefy girls discovered fhe fun and fascinafion of mafhemafics. The Mafh Club is fhe Maria Chapfer of fhe nafional organizafion, Mu Alpha Thefa. From fhe nafional office members were able fo oblain membership cards, pins, and cerlificafes bearing fhe Mu Alpha Thefa emblem. Publicafions from fhe organizafion aided members in choosing proiecfs and fopics for reporfs. Prolecfs underfalcen by fhe members in- cluded polyhedral ornamenfs for a cafe- feria Chrisfmas free, Mafh Day, and fhe fhird annual Freshman-Sophomore lv1a+h Confesf.
