When The weafher forced The sTudenTs To move in- doors, They Turned Their aTTenTions To bas- lcefball. lnframurals were played befween gym Teams and homeroom Teams. A TesT was given as a final proof of The girls' knowl- edge of The rules of baslcefball. Volleyball served as The sporf from midferm To The end of The year. Care was Talcen To see ThaT The girls undersfood The rules and obeyed The one-hiT sTipulaTion. To avoid monofony, The physical educa- Tion deparfmenf devofed some of The gym periods To calisfhenics, precision drill worlc, and a varieTy of skills pracficed on The rings and bars.
