All oT The dances Took place on a Friday nighT or on an evening beTore a school holiday, enabling The clean-up com- miTTee To geT The gym spoTless Tor gym classes. Big-name bands provided en- TerTainmenT in The Torm oT pulsaTing music. As usual, The TradiTional policies oT Maria were observed and Treshmen were noT allowed To purchase TiclceTs or aTTend The dances. No TiclceTs were sold aT The door. Themes varied Trom Crimson and Clover, The TirsT Red Cross dance, To JusT The Same-Only DiTTerenT, The iunior class dance. The caieleria supplied enough hamburgers, hol dogs, soda, candy, and popcorn lo keep lhe ravenous guesls going belween lhe bewilching hours from 5 unlil 9 p.m. Allhough lhe sophomores were novices al a lask ol lhis enormous responsi- bilily, 'rhey provided an enioyable evening for all who dropped in on The Eve of All Hallows.
