A Word To The Graduates WllCll you received your diploma. it was a sign that you have satisfactorily completed the education and training Maria High School has offered to you. This was a specialized edu- cation and training hecause it was built around you-a young girl who would soon have to take her place in the world as a woman. When you accepted that diploma. it was a sign that you intend to live up to all the ideals of womanhood which were proposed to you. Your school can explain the ideals. but you have to live them. This is a tremendous respon- sibility. because what you are will affect not only yourself. but everyone with whom you come in contact. But remember-you are not alone. lVlary-Queen of all women . . . Mother of Cod . . . Spouse of the Holy Spirit-is in- terested in you personally. Place your com- plete confidence in her. and your womanhood will he your eternal crown of glory. -- Father John C.
