CROSS COUNTRY hy XNARD Kr:AToR Cross Country has been a new sport in our school in the last couple ol years. lt is perhaps one of the most strenuous sports which we now hive in our school, .Xt the meets, each person on each team is required to run the distance, which varies from two to two-ancl-a-halt miles. The win- ning team is cleterminecl by points. W'hen each player comes in, he is nuniberecl starting with one. ancl this proceecls nntil each ancl all runners are in. Then the numbers ol' the place in which each runner came in, are arlflecl together and the tea'n with the fewest points wins. Mr. Klatalavage was the coach, with Bob l'eet as the star runner who always linishecl lirst on onr team. Hur competition was again iiilboa, Miclclleburg anfl Delhi. CHEERLEADING Rah! Rah!
