We, the class of '58 returned to Marengo High School this year with much enthusiasm, realizing that we were nearing the last lap of our journey through high school. Our class is rated as one of the most active in school with many of us participating in sports, dramatics, and musical groups. The major events of our junior year have been our class play, entitled, One Foot in Heaven, and '.'.'lT'f'.lI1Q first prize with our float in the Homecoming Parade. Our Student Council members are Eunice Schafbuch and Harlan Bigbee. We are looking forward to our Senior year, and hoping that it will be as successful and enjoyable as our previous years. Some of us participate in basketball, football, track, vocal music. band, and speech. We tied for second place with our Homecoming float. But our class is also high scholastically. Three of our members are tied with a four-point or straight-A average. They are Elinor Winn, Barbara Vogt, and Marjorie Rush. Our representatives to Student Council are Elinor Winn and Jimmy Honn.
