To start out the season six of our boys played a lot of football. They were Dale Karsten, Jim Bellamy, Russell Sherman, Ervin Langlas Jr., Jim Tompkins, and Jim Freeze. Many of our class participated in basket- ball too. We are also prominent in music groups such as boys and girls glee clubs, chorus and band. Also included in the music department are the soloists. They are Garth Bigbee, clarinet solo, Norma Beer, soprano solog and Betty Ellis, piano solo. Other clubs which we have participated in are Home Economics, G. A. A. and Pep Club. These humble beginnings show great promise for our class of 1949. ..21..
