Nothing tastes better than S1urPY When I left the radio station J- was surprised to find it raining. I f.-' ran under the awning at a department store window and found that they were f advertising smirk Lipstick. A toll man with black hair and brown eyes 6 came out and holding up a tube of lipstick recited thls little verse. . In ten beautiful shades it comes to you ' In brown, orange and purple too, Buy a little tube, just to see If the boys you know don't agree I And if its klssln' ycu're missin' and that's en0U8h f come in tomorrow and buy some of this good stuff. It wasn't until after after he finished that I noticed it was Charles Free. 5 ' It was certainly a change from the Free I used to know. 5 It had stopped raining so I started to cross the street. I was half- ' way' across when I saw a huge black car almost upon me. I tried to move, 6 but I couldn't. I just couldn't get away from that car. I awoke with 5 a start. I was flinging my arms wildly. I felt a little foolish after I I realised I was just dreaming. I was surprised to find it was no Ja mu' 5 ' than 7:50. I was ,just going to read the paper when I remembered the 'Hog I, Creek Barn Dance was in town and i1 I hurried I could catch the last 1 . show which started at 8:00. I arrived a few minutes late but spent a very enjoyable evening. The last song that was sang will forever ring in my f ears. It was sung by the Tipsy Trio which consisted of Martha Tower, Freddie Huffman, and Kenneth Clark. The name ot the song was Guzz1er's I, wine and it was sang so realistically that I could hardly stagger home 3 after the shew, so I called a texl-nab to take me home. When lt arrived ,f I noticed something familiar about the driver. After I had Gone a little I ways I decided to ask who she was, because since the war there hadn't been .V , many skirted cab-drivers and this must be something special. when I had ' the conversation started she informed me that she used to attend I-larengo ' High School. Being one of the graduates of M. H. S I was very much sur- 1. prised to find out she was one of my old classmates Betty Ruth Chtt. She I told me she was married five years ago to a handsome and dashing young , lochinvar from the west by the name of Dogg, and have three children by f the names of spiuza, Mitza, and Dennis. But the sad part of the whole 1 thing is that she is planning to sue for divorce as soon as the child- r rea are igoschool. Can you imagine hw this would look in the Newspapers GATT vs. G. - I So, in conclusion I was delighted to realize that I had renewed f friendship with all my old classmates of 1947, and was surprised to find that they all had escaped the 'Penal Farm, Insane Asvlum and Alcatraz and 4, ., .,A..,Aeg:5.,-, f-lf' ...Qs-jj.Q was disappointed that not one had achieved the position of President, but g , Vw, ,f-Q5 I still have hopes that someday one of them wzll ettein that position.
