Just because Ivan is not married yet does not mean that he is to become a bachelor. Mae Hendricks, who thought that her 'one and only' was not in Marengo, lives in Indianapolis. Whether her one and only lives there or not, we do not know. Jim Nicholson is working at Indianapolis and escaping the Marengo girls. Vera Crecelius, who declared last year that she was going to be a teacher and never get married, is engaged to Jim Broughton. Russell Bullington, Jackie Ruth's ole lovelorn, is working at Orleans in a radio factory. Ellen Bulllngton is living with her parents. Nothing like 'home sweet home', is there, Ellen? Arthur Green is the lucky husband of Jewell Wyman and the proud father of a daughter, Peggy Lee. Mary Jean Batman changed her last name immediately after she graduated from Marengo High. It was not because she disliked her name, Batman, it was just 'love'. Llnneaus Wheeler is working at the Orleans' Cleaners in Orleans, Indiana Dorothy Pierson quit popping pop corn at the Rialto Theater so that she could marry her beloved, Paul Lynch. Douglas Denton and Bob Lockwood are attending Hanover College. Nancy Fryer, Marengo's only honest-to-goodness blonde, is attending Han- over College learning how to raise chickens-'just for Pete'. Dale Toney has such a love for Crawford County that he is still here. Beatrice Broughton is working at Indianapolis in the State House. I won- der what it is at Indianapolis that makes all the kids go there. Melvin Froman has a profession already--farming with his dad. Beulah Key is living in New Albany now. Maryan Williams is the news-reporter for the Marengo Messenger. In memory of Kenneth Miller, who would of been listed as a graduate of 'h9, died in October, l9h8, is sadly missed by each member of the gradu- ating class of 1950. In remembrance of all the past graduates of Marengo High School we wish to extend our gratitude for the co-operation they have given us.
