164 VOCT Witil' CVAE is the only Co-op class on the Marcus campus at this time. Another name for it is the Hwork program. The students in this class attend class 4 periods a day and receive credit for the other two for working at jobs in the community. They may work at any job and currently students are employed in a range of jobs from the fast foods to a funeral home. There is also a club that is an integral part of the class. lt is called VOCT. This year the students adopted a needy family at Christmas time and provided gifts and the Christmas meal for them. They also had a Christmas gift exchange and pizza party before the Christmas break. Milli itll MLB vvv V VV? The primary obiective of the Marcus High School Science Club is the striving to broaden opportunities for scientific knowledge. To help achieve this goal, the club participates in many outings which included a trip to the Omni theatre, guest speakers, and involvement with the district-wide science fair held on February 28.
