But it gradually gets worse when she decides to have her portrait painted and three artists turn up. It seems one of the artists has a dark past which brings Beagle, the human bloodhound, into the picture The difficulties become more and more complex, involving a queer malady, NPocketitisN, from which the maid is suffering, the whirlwind courtship of Mary, the cook, and Lon Torrence, plus the cook chasing the yard-boy, Arthur, with rolling pins and frying pans when he eats everything in the kitchen. But, as all's well that ends well, everything turned out fine and dandy. Only Mary now chases Lon instead of Arthur in spite of the lovebug.

NCHEERIO MY DEARIOH Presented April 4, 1952 Sue and Cherry are desperately in need of money to pay the rent when a telegram arrives stating that the wealthy and available Lord Twillingham is coming. Therein the trouble starts. Sue's jealous hus- band sends a telegram canceling the reservation, so Cherry dresses up as an English lord. Rich women in search of a title pour into the hotel, solving the financial problem, but creating little short of an uproar in the lives of those involved. Sophronia refuses to wear glasses and continually bumps into furniture, Mrs. Johns is determined to get a title, and Melchizedek wangles tips from the customers so he'll be rich enough to marry Desdemona. And then the real lord enters and confusion results. As things gradually return to normal, Snodsbury, the valet, is found to be the real lord. Almost everyone is satisfied except Desdemona who swears she's going to kill a nigger when Melchizedek loses his money in a crap game.
