To provide for the chain of surprises in the Josslyn home, Gi:nger Uune McNea.U, the youngest daughter, cannot live unless she has a formal for her first formal dance when Jerry Griffith fWillard Robinson, extends his invitation. Her. brother, Hollis fBud Rimesl, longs for a car with which he can Wow the Dames ! Sam fDon Kirby? and Suzanne Josslyn fMarilyn Brown, play the understanding but distraught parents. Of course, nothing could have happened if Julie fMary Rurnseyl hadn't changed her mind about marrying Geoffrey Uerry Adarnsl, the young son of the wealthy widow, Mrs. H. B. WaIker Uoyce Jensenl. When Julie brought her new husband, Johnny Buddington Jones QEd Thornburg, home, Suzamxa got her Bendix, Ginger her formalg Hollis his car, and Aunt Hazel lJoan Gyllstrom Ivlr.
