N ational H 0mm Society The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization founded in 1921. This year ten new members were inducted into the Marcellus Chapter. The new members in- clude three seniors and seven juniors. Candidates for the National Honor Society are selected by faculty vote from those students who have achieved a scholastic average placing them in the upper third of their class. Membership is limited to 10 per cent of the Junior and five per cent of the Senior class at each yearly election. The members are chosen on the basis of 50 per cent scholar- ship, 10 per cent character, 20 per cent leadership and 20 per cent service. This year's faculty advisor is Miss Patricia Dean of the English Department. Seated: Virginia Martin, Judith Partickt Janet Eibert, Margaret McLaughlin.
